Prerna crowned “Mrs India Global Queen of the Queens 2021”

Bhilai, Feb 11: If working women get opportunity to show their talent, they can also touch the sky. A daughter of Maharashtra and daughter-in-law of Steel City – Prerna Dhabarde has proved this statement. Wife of eminent medical practitioner Dr Uday Kumar, Prerna Dhabarde won laurels by achieving the crown of “Mrs India Global Queen of the Queens” among the participants from across the country during the Miss-Mrs India Global Queen Conclave held in Mumbai on February 6 and 7. Prerna won this title with the strength of her wittiness and outstanding talent.

With the talent and confidence, Prerna won three awards in this national level competition organised at Club Emerald in Mumbai. Prerna was the winner of her group in Crown Timeless Beauty and Crown Mrs India Classic Global Queen. The third and most important crown was to select one of the winners from all groups having the quality of multi-tasking and much more. Proving herself to be the best on the parameters of talent, ramp walk, question answer and social media popularity, Prerna won the crown of Mrs India Global Queen of the Queens. Actor and snooker champion Gaurav Deshmukh, Tata Cancer Hospital plastic surgery department head Dr Vinay Kant Shankadhar and frontline corona warrior Doctor Khalid (who set the record for treating the highest number of corona patients in Mumbai) were among the eminent jury members. The jury included the former Mrs Universe, Mrs Asia Pacific and Mrs India.

Prerna expressed gratitude towards the organisers of ‘Miss and Mrs India Global Queen Conclave’. She stated that the organizers have boosted the confidence of all the contestants from across the country and such competitions help the homemakers and working women to explore their inner talent and get a chance to carve it. Prerna says, “I also think that women can do any work very well if they get the right opportunity.”

Prerna said that she desires to do something noble for the women of Chhattisgarh and Bhilai. Her aim is to elevate their education, health and prosperity. Prerna also desires to win the crown of Mrs Universe.

It is worth mentioning that Prerna is presently working as Director of three hospitals in Durg and Rajnandgaon. Her husband Dr Uday Kumar is the in-charge of the Burns Unit and Plastic Surgery Department of BSP’s Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital and Research Centre, Sector 9 of Steel Plant. Her son Utkarsh is studying MS at AIIMS, New Delhi and daughter Unnati is in MBBS final year at AIIMS, Raipur. Prerna, who spent most of her time in hospital operations, social service and resolving the women’s problems, said that the competition held in Mumbai led to a lot of learning under the leadership of Doctors Neelam Paradia and Sunita Bhagat. While participating in this event, her confidence level was increased and she learned the art of speaking better on stage and expressing her hidden talent. It is noteworthy that earlier to this competition, Prerna had won the first runner up position of Mrs Chhattisgarh 2020 contest.

The notable aspect of the competition was the Like and Share rounds on social media. Prerna emerged the most popular among the participants in this round. She performed all the yoga postures very well in the Yoga training round. At the same time, Marathi Lavani dance was greatly appreciated in the talent round. She drew the attention of the attendees with her quick responses over the questions of the judges. She was asked by the judges that what should be the qualities in a Mrs India Global Queen winner. On this, Prerna replied that life is full of opportunities, experience and lessons. The one who faces all these successfully is entitled for the crown of Mrs India Global Queen. At the same time, she must be humble, kind, mentally empowered and a benefactor of society. She added, “When I look into the mirror, all these qualities are visible in me, so I am a strong aspirant for this title”. Prerna’s responses were appreciated by the judges and she was unanimously voted as the ‘Mrs India Global Queen of Queens’ from the categories of Miss India Global Queen, Mrs India Global Queen, Mrs India Global Queen Classic and Mrs India Global Queen Platinum categories.
