Mukesh Chandrakar appointed president of Bhilai City DCC

Bhilai, Oct 03: All India Congress Committee has entrusted the responsibility of the Bhilai City District Congress Committee to staunch and committed party worker and renowned philanthropist Mukesh Chandrakar. His appointment has been made by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal.
He replaced Tulsi Sahu, who was the first President of Bhilai City DCC. While talking to media persons, Mukesh said that as a dedicated and committed party worker, he will make best efforts to deliver as per the expectations of the party.
His appointment is also being considered as an important political development as the Bhilai city is going to witness civic body polls very soon. In view of his generous and kind personality, it is anticipated that Mukesh Chandrakar will be able to control and resolve all the in-party disputes very easily.
Soon after his appointment, MLA Devendra Yadav met Mukesh Chandrakar and greeted him with a bouquet. Senior Congress leader Sandeep Nirankari, NSUI State Vice President Sumit Pawar, NSUI District President Aditya Singh and others were present.
Mukesh expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, PCC Chief Mohan Markam, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, MLA Devendra Yadav and other senior leaders of the party.
