MP Baghel reminds villagers of unfulfilled promises of Cong Govt

Bhilai, Oct 11:
After traveling about 100 km on foot in three consecutive days in Patan Vidhan Sabha, Member of Parliament Vijay Baghel started his “Jan Jagaran Padyatra” on Monday after offering prayers to Goddess Durga at village Jheet.
He was accorded a rousing welcome on his arrival at village Ufra. Influenced by the policies and working of Bharatiya Janata Party, senior citizens and women of the village joined BJP in presence of MP Vijay Baghel.
MP Baghel alleged that the Chhattisgarh state Congress government is only making false claims of prosperity in the state. Ever since the Congress government was formed in the state, corruption and hooliganism have prevailed.
School going girls of the state are no longer getting bicycles, farmers are getting fertilizer at higher prices, and there has been no increase in pension so far. At the behest of the government, the police officers are manipulating the charge sheets to benefit the accused of crimes like murder, rape and dacoity. The Chief Minister and the ministers are busy in themselves and the people of the state are suffering, Baghel said.
On the fourth day of Jan Jagaran Padyatra, Baghel covered the villages Mahuda, Ufra, Jamrao, Ghughwa, Khudmuda and Amaleshwar. He apprised the villagers about the unfulfilled promises of the state government. He warmly welcomed the people in BJP and honoured them with stoles. Senior BJP officials, workers and villagers were present on this occasion.
