Junior doctors and trainee DSPs clash, DSP injured, FIR filed

A violent clash broke out between Junior doctors and trainee DSPs in the Parpa police station area of Bastar district, resulting in the injury of a DSP and an FIR being filed. According to sources, the trainee DSP was conducting an inspection near a petrol pump on Sunday night when he questioned a junior woman doctor, leading to an argument. The woman called her fellow doctors, who then beat up the DSP, resulting in his injury.
ASP Nivedita Paul revealed that trainee DSP Avinash Garg was investigating certain points when the incident occurred. In the meantime, an intern woman was spotted in a deserted area near the petrol pump. Trainee DSP Garg began questioning her, but things turned violent when intern doctor Paras Gupta arrived at the scene and misbehaved with the police. The situation escalated, leading to an assault on the trainee DSP and his colleagues. Other police officers intervened to control the situation, but the trainee DSP was injured in the process.
An FIR has been registered at the Parpa police station, and an investigation is underway.
