Jt Director Agriculture makes sudden inspection of Manikpur Gauthan

Vishrampuri (Bade Rajpur), Jul 15: Joint Director Agriculture Bastar Division reached Manikpur Gauthan on July 11 at 9:30  am. He instructed to fill the vermin compost manure prepared here in bags and to maintain sufficient moisture in ‘vermi tanka’. He also inspected ‘Nadep Tanka’ and bird shed. It was instructed that birds should be given sufficient food and clean water.
On this occasion women self-help group members were not present and Gauthan Management Committee member Rajendra Kumar Markam was present. He showed Joint Director all the activities of gauthan.
Thereafter Joint Director inspected the premises of private manure, seeds and medicine seller Ravi Traders. He asked Shesh Narayan Pandey present in the shop about POS machine and physically checked the quantity of manure present in the godown.
Even after the information Rural Agriculture Extension Officer and BTM were not present on the spot and hence departmental activities cannot be inspected.
