Divisional Railway Consumer Advisory Committee meeting concluded

Bilaspur, 25 Sept:
Divisional Railway Consumer Advisory Committee meeting was held on Sep 24th, under the chairmanship of Divisional Railway Manager Alok Sahai. In this meeting, members of the Divisional Railway Consumer Advisory Committee (DRUCC), including the Secretary and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Coordination) Pulkit Singhal and branch officials, Devesh Acharya, MLA Bargarh, Shyamsunder Poddar Manendragarh, M.Srinu Bilaspur, Gajendra Singh Anuppur, K. Domru Reddy Chirmiri, Shyamsundar Tiwari Bilaspur, Harish Parsai Korba, Akhilesh Sonthalia Bilaspur, Jitendra Kumar Gupta Umaria, Anuj Sen Umaria, Vijaykrishna Rao Deshmukh Bilaspur, Rakesh Chandrakar Uslapur, Anil Kumar Dua Bilaspur, PC Jain Akaltara, Rameshwar Singh Khongsara, Amarendra Rai Brajrajnagar, Ramdas Puri Anuppur took part.
After the welcome, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Coordination), Pulkit Singhal presented the achievements of the Board and the upcoming action plans. Divisional Railway Manager Alok Sahai presented the facilities and projects available under the passenger amenities extension. Several members took active participation and asked for changes in the present schedule of the Railway.
Devesh Acharya asked for running superfast Intercity Express between Bilaspur and Titlagarh, and restoration of MST facility by Akhilesh Sonthalia. Shyamsunder Tiwari suggested improving the roads of Budhwari Bazar area, to run special trains like regular trains, Vijaykrishna Rao Deshmukh to provide additional facilities to help the differently-abled in the reservation counters and to put the Divyang coach in the middle of the trains, whereas Jitendra Kumar Gupta suggested to provide stoppage of all trains at Umaria station and provide facility to travel monthly ticket holders in Madanmahal-Ambikapur Express.
In the meeting, Divisional Railway Manager Alok Sahay congratulated all the members for their active positive initiative and said that through you we can do better work on knowing all the things and we hope that we do progressive development work.
