Monsoon showers inundate two major underbridges

Bhilai, Jun 13: The first monsoon showers that hit the city on Sunday afternoon was enough to flood the two underbridges at Maurya Chandra Square and near Priyadarshini Complex, Supela. It being a complete Sunday lockdown in the wake of Corona pandemic , people mostly stayed indoor and so were spared from traffic snarls or flooded roads. Water logging was witnessed at most of the squares and low-lying areas. Rains also brought relief from the hot and humid weather that had gripped the twin city for the last couple of days.
