Cong Govt committed to expand health facilities: Guru Rudra Kumar

Bhilai, Oct 08: Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, on Thursday, inaugurated a 10-bed paediatric ward at Ahiwara Community Health Center (CHC) in Durg district.
On the occasion, Minister Guru Rudra Kumar said that health facilities are expanding rapidly in the area. The Congress state government is committed to provide better health services to the citizens.
In view of the possible outbreak of the third wave of Covid-19, the state government is developing health infrastructure in a mission mode. In case of any adverse situation, the people of Ahiwara will get better health services from the facility of 10-bed paediatric ward.
After inaugurating the ward, Minister Guru Rudra Kumar flagged off ambulance service for the residents of Ahiwara assembly constituency. With the commencement of ambulance service, people will be able to reach the hospital swiftly and get medical intervention at the right time.
Local public representatives, administrative officials including SDM Brajesh Kshatriya, BMO Dr Thakur, CMO Rajesh Tiwari and others were present.
