Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh conducts tree plantation drive

Bhilai, Aug 29: On the occasion of Environment Day, Durg District unit of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh organized a tree plantation drive in the vehicle branch of the Bhilai Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, BMC Deputy Engineer and senior office bearer of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishnu Chandrakar said that present era is modern era, and the whole world is suffering from environmental pollution.
Today, the human beings are breathing poisonous gases. Due to this reason only, people are getting affected from many diseases. He emphasised on the need to timely action for protection of environment for providing a healthy future to the humans and other living beings. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh District Secretary Anjani Kumar Dwivedi stated that people have to remain aware and alert for environmental protection and maintaining the ecological balance. To avoid the harmful pollution of water, air, noise, there is a need to take affective measures slowly and preserve the beauty of our earth. Environmental protection should be declared mandatory for every human being in the world. People must plant trees and protect them till they grow stronger. To maintain the balance of nature, plantation has its own special importance. Roots of the trees prevent soil erosion. Vivek Ranganath said that trees are worshipped in our country. Valmiki Singh said that trees and forests are source of medicinal plants and herbs which protect human health. Vishnu Chandrakar, Anjani Kumar Dwivedi, Vivek Ranganath, Valmiki Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, Ravi Soni, Kuntelal Sahu, Krishna Deshmukh and employees of BMC were present in the tree plantation programme.
