Addl Secy & Financial Advisor, MOS Sukriti Likhi visits BSP
Bhilai, Oct 18: Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, MOS Sukriti Likhi visited Bhilai Steel Plant on Tuesday. G Sarathy Raja, Deputy Secretary (Steel) accompanied Likhi on her visit to Bhilai Steel Plant.
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) and Executive Directors welcomed Likhi and G Sarathy Raja, Deputy Secretary (Steel) at Bhilai Niwas. Likhi and G Sarathy Raja, Deputy Secretary (Steel) also planted saplings at Bhilai Niwas. At the outset, Likhi visited Safety Excellence Centre, where she was given a briefing on Safety. Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) and Anjani Kumar, ED (Works) were present during Likhi’s Plant visit. She went to Coke Oven Battery # 11, followed by steel making operations in Bhilai’s Modex units, Blast Furnace 8 and Steel Melting Shop 3, followed by a visit to Modex Unit, Universal Rail Mill in Bhilai, where the world’s longest rails are rolled out. She also witnessed rolling of plates in Plate Mill.
She attended an overview presentation on Bhilai Steel Plant and had a meeting with Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c(BSP) at Ispat Bhavan. G Sarathy Raja, Deputy Secretary (Steel), AK Bhatta, ED (MM), Anjani Kumar, ED (Works), Tapan Sutradhar, ED (Mines), S Mukhopadhyay, ED (Projects), Dr AK Panda, ED (Finance), Dr M Ravindranath, CMO I/c (M & HS) & Senior officers of Plant were present on the occasion. She also visited other places as per her schedule.
