2000 DMC employees get salary & arrears before Diwali

Bhilai, Oct 27: In keeping with the directives of the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and on the instructions of Durg Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal and Commissioner Haresh Mandavi, Durg Municipal Corporation has deposited the salary, arrears of DA and festival advance for 2000 regular and placement employees to their respective accounts, adding to around 3 crore rupees.
Commissioner Haresh Mandavi and Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal have extended their Diwali greetings to the officers and staff. The duo explained that as per the instructions of the state government, it was decided that first salary payment will be made to the employees so that they could celebrate the festival with their families.
The employees and officers on getting the payment met the Mayor and Commissioner and expressed their happiness and gratitude and greeted for Diwali.
