Women are not the subject of politics: Saroj Pandey

Bhilai, Mar 08: Rajya Sabha Member Saroj Pandey shared her views about women in the parliament on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Monday. She said that International Women’s Day is being celebrated across the world. She added that the circumstances have changed in the last few years and she feels that the women of the country have become significantly empowered.
MP Saroj Pandey further said that there should be no politics on women. She added, “We women have been fighting for our rights again and again. I want to give thanks to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. Saroj stated that in earlier days when a girl child was born, there were many states and regions, where the girls were killed before birth or after birth.
The sex ratio deteriorated and situation became terrible. At this moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ambitious Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. The people were explained to save the daughters and also educate the daughters as the daughters can only ensure the future of mankind.
Saroj thanked the Prime Minister for this campaign and stated that the sex-ration has improved in Modi regime. She further stated in the Parliament several incidents occur which hurt our psyche a lot. She added that women are never the object of politics.
Speaking over the Triple Talaq, Saroj said, “I was present in this house, I remember the day in which we discussed the bill of Triple Talaq. The subjects raised by the people in this house, those people who were suffering from Triple Talaq, those daughters and mothers who were frightened by the word Triple Talaq. But the politics of appeasement forced them to die.
