Villager makes complaint against illegal brick kiln 

116 applications received in Jandarshan

Bhilai, Apr 04: A villager from Pisegaon reached Collector Jandarshan and submitted a complaint against illegal production of red bricks. The applicant stated that a resident of his village is producing bricks on his agricultural land which is adjacent to the applicant’s farms. His fertile land is being affected by the ash emerging from the kiln. He further stated that the brick manufacturer does not even have permission under the guidelines of the government. About 10 lakh bricks are being manufactured illegally and minors are also being employed here. The applicant requested the Collector to get the matter investigated and get the brick production work stopped immediately. The Collector has sent the application to SDM Durg for further action.
A resident of Urla (Ward 57) sought cleanliness around Durga Manch of Murre Bhatta in his locality. He informed that a drain has been built near the stage. Due to the construction of a bridge in the direction of its discharge, the drain water has been blocked. Due to this construction, water and waste material has been accumulated in the drain for the past several months. Excess water is flowing on the road and common people are suffering due to foul smell and dirt. The applicant requested that this problem should be resolved at the earliest. The Collector sent the application to the Commissioner of Durg Municipal Corporation.
In Jandarshan, Maruti Gupta of Bhilai submitted an application for allotment of house in Amrapali Vananchal Society. He has been allotted a house in Khamharia by Municipal Corporation Bhilai under More Makaan More Aas Yojana. Mrs Gupta works in Anganwadi and her children are studying in Amrapali school. Considering the education of the children, he requested for allotment of a house in Amrapali. On this, the Collector directed the Municipal Corporation Bhilai.
Mamta Singh, a resident of Ward No 20 Durg, submitted an application for getting the amount of insurance and PF. She said that her husband was working in HSCL. PF was deducted from his salary by HSCL. The facility of insurance was also provided to her husband. After the death of her husband, she is not getting the insurance amount. Collector instructed SDM Bhilai to take action on this complaint. A total of 116 applications were received in Jandarshan.
