Durg Police creates green corridor for ambulance

On Tuesday, Durg Police created a green corridor for the second time within three days for shifting a patient to Raipur. The critically ill 4-year-old child was to be shifted from Bhilai to AIIMS Raipur within 28 minutes.
According to information, volleyball national player Sunil Yadav’s 4-year-old son Anshu Yadav was admitted in Sector 9 Hospital. The doctors referred him to AIIMS Raipur for better treatment. The aggrieved father sought help from his friends after which Councilor Vashisht Narayan Mishra and Volleyball Coach Sahiram Jakhar arranged an advance life support Ambulance. They sought help from District Police for creating a Green Corridor for the ambulance. Superintendent of Police (Durg) immediately directed the Traffic Police to make arrangements after which the Traffic Police in collaboration with staff of various police stations created a Green Corridor and ensured congestion free passage for the ambulance. The ambulance travelled from Sector 9 Hospital to AIIMS Raipur in just 28 minutes. Highway Patrolling #2 vehicle did piloting for the ambulance. Inspector Sangram Singh was positioned at Globe Square, Sub-Inspector Prakash Singh at Berozgar Tiraha, Subedar Anish Sarathi in Equipment Chowk, Assistant Sub-Inspector Umakant Yadav in Power House Square, Assistant Sub-Inspector Suresh Devangan at Ashish Hotel cut, Assistant Sub Inspector Chandrika Prasad in Khursipar Chowk, Highway Patrolling-02 in Dabra Para Chowk, Assistant Sub Inspector Bodhan Lal Sahu at Janata School cut, Assistant Sub Inspector Nirdosh Ekka in Sirsagate Chowk, Inspector Sangram Singh in Charoda Bus Stand, Inspector DP Patre at Royal Khalsa Dhaba, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramesh Dubey at DMC, Assistant Sub-Inspector Mahesh Mishra near Power Grid, Assistant Sub-Inspector Santosh Srivastava at in Kanji House and Sub-Inspector RS Rajput was positioned at Kumhari Toll Plaza.
