Durg Commissioner visits Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store, takes feedback

Bhilai, Oct 22: Durg Municipal Corporation Commissioner Haresh Mandavi on Friday morning inspected the newly launched cheap medicine shop Shri Dhanwantri generic medical store.
Here it needs a mention that cheap medicine shops have been launched virtually by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to provide necessary medicine at cheap rates to the poor and lower income group people.
Two such shops have been opened in the Nalghar shopping complex in front of the New Bus Stand and another one near Scindia Nagar Muktidham within Durg Municipal Limits.
After reaching both the shops, the Municipal Commissioner, took stock of the situation and discussed the problems being faced by the operators. He also took information about the problems being faced by them and also gave directions to them.
He asked the shop operators to operate the shop as per the prescribed time and maintain records regularly, behave decently with the customers and also keep adequate stock in the shops.
He also checked the price list of the medicines being sold at the rate fixed by the government. He said that there should not be any complaint in the rate of the medicine being sold. He also met the beneficiaries who had come to buy the medicine and got information about this scheme and their feedback on the opening of cheap medicine shop.
All the beneficiaries expressed their reaction and said that such cheap medicine is not available anywhere else. Nodal Officer AR Rahangdale, Public Relations Officer Durgesh Gupta, PIU Shekhar Verma, Manish Yadav and others were present on the occasion.
