CISF celebrates Independence Day

Bhilai, Aug 18: The Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the CISF IIIrd Reserve Battalion in the presence of chief guest Sanjay Prakash, Inspector General, Central Sector Headquarters, Bhilai.
The National Flag Tricolour was hoisted by the Chief Guest amidst the CISF Band playing the National Anthem. In his address, Sanjay Prakash extended warm greetings to all the officers, jawans and their families present in the celebration of the 75th Independence Day. He urged the soldiers to continue to perform their duty towards the country as well as increase the value of their force. The Chief Guest congratulated the members of the force who were recently awarded Utkrisht Police Service Medal and Agni Seva Medal from all the units coming under the Central Sector, Bhilai.
Along with this, the officers of the force, subordinate officers and other force members were honoured with the Additional Director General and Inspector General citation for the performance of their specific duties in the program. Children and women who participated in street play under Mega Tree Plantation Drive were rewarded by Sneh Pandey, Patron President of Central Sector Headquarters Bhilai. Priyanka Singh President Conservator CISF III Reserve Battalion Bhilai was also present. Deputy Inspector General Central Sector Himanshu Pandey, Third Reserve Battalion Commandant Sunil Kumar Singh and other senior officers were present in the program.
