Teacher’s Day celebration in SXHS Mungeli

Mungeli, Sep 04: Life without teacher is just like sky without star. With this anonymous thought, St. Xavier’s Mungeli, celebrated Teachers Day with zeal and enthusiasm with the theme “ARAGMA”- joys of life. It was a great privilege to be honoured with a very dynamic personality as Chief Guest Ajit Vasant (Collector, Mungeli) along with the dignitary P. V Mistry (Management member). Chief Guest was honoured and welcomed with guard of honour followed with Tilak and Saraswati Vandana.
The day was elaborated beautifully by Akshar Upadhyay, in his speech. Principal, welcomed the chief guest with bouquet and memento as a token of love and respect. A melodious presentation of song was given by the students of class 10th and 12th as a tribute to teachers. Poem recitation by Tiya Ledwani (Thank you Teacher) increased the honour of teachers. The day became a remarkable one when addressed the gathering by his valuable words and was ready to help the citizens of his state and his country. Upadhyay suggested not only to focus on academic part but also to be a responsible citizen. A marvellous dance performance by students increased the beauty of atmosphere. A very new show took place at the stage to know the guest more deeply, that was “Talk Show”.
It was great to witness the musical talent of Om Sharma playing “Tabla” with great spirit. The program came to its end with tribute to the nation with the singing of National Anthem.
