BJYM burns effigy of Chief Minister

Bhilai, Nov 24: The Durg unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the leadership of District President Nitesh Sahu, burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at Shaheed Chowk, Durg the other day to protest against the objectionable remarks made by him on Vishnu Dev Sai, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, informed a press communique.
District President Nitesh Sahu while staging protest stated that it is condemnable for the Chief Minister to make indecent remarks on BJP State President and against the dignity of the Chief Minister. Such a rhetoric on the leader of the cadre of being state president of the opposition party coming from the mouth of the Chief Minister is condemnable. It reflects the poor mentality of the Chief Minister, he added.
He alleged that the Chief Minister and his government are unable to handle the state, due to the fight for chair. This has stalled the development of the entire Chhattisgarh state. The people of the state are facing problems and the work of Bhupesh government is zero, he further stated.
The BJYM would not tolerate any comment on the simple and honest tribal leader Vishnu Dev Sai. BJYM warns the government to desist from such lousy comments and seeks public apology for the remarks made on the state president. Else, the BJYM leader added that they would step up the protest and show black flag at every program of the Chief Minister.
Among those present at the effigy burning were District General Secretary Tekhan Sinha, District General Secretary Gaurav Sharma, District Vice President Rahul Dewan, District Treasurer Nitesh Bafna, Mandal BJP General Secretary Sunil Agarwal, Harish Chauhan, District Media Incharge Chandrakant Sahu, District Publicity Head Rahul Bhatt, Himanshu Singh, Mandal President Kanhaiya Devangan, Deepak Sinha, Raja Yadav, Mandal General Secretary Aniket Yadav, Phalendra Yadav, Ishwar Devangan, Prem Sahu, Gopu Patel, Mandal BJP Secretary Praveen Sen, District Executive Member Piyush Malviya, Rahul Patil, Ashish Pandey, Kundan Sahu and a large number of youth.
