Sukma win state level cricket competition

A two-day sports festival program was organized by the regional Maheshwari youth organization in Bemetara, in which players from all the organizations of the state had participated.  In this festival all indoor and outdoor games including cricket, carrom, badminton, running, chess were organized.  Sukma’s cricket team was the state champion as well as performed well in other sports.  State Cabinet Minister Kawasi Lakhma congratulated the winning players, as well offered a grand welcome to the players in Sukma.
Under the aegis of the Regional Youth Organization, the state level sports festival was organized in Bemetara for two days.  On Friday and Saturday, teams from Tongpal, Chhindgarh, Dornapal and Sukma of the district reached Bemetara to participate in this competition.  Players participated in Badminton, Carrom along with cricket team from Sukma and performed well in the game.  The main game of all sports is cricket in which Sukma’s team reached the finals by defeating Jagdalpur, Balod, Bhilai in two days, where it performed better and became the state champion by defeating Raipur.  Sukma has won the twice.  Captain Montu Laddha, Mukesh Rathi, Anil Laddha, Lokesh Tavari, Rahul Jhanwar, Santi Jhanwar, Badal Chandak, Mohit Tawari, Mahesh Chandak, Pawan Tawari, Vivek Laddha performed brilliantly.  Apart from this, Manoj Chandak, Durgesh Laddha in carrom, junior team Saksham Rathi and Viral Lohia, Deepak Tavari, Rahul Tavari, Daksh Bhutda, Neel Tavari won the final match by performing better in badminton.  After the victory, the players were warmly welcomed in Bemetara, as well as the state minister Kawasi Lakhma, through a video message, congratulated the regional Maheshwari youth organization for the organization and also sent best wishes to the Sukma team.  When the same Sukma team reached back, all the members of the society welcomed the team with fireworks.

Madhyanchal vice-president Shadar Soni, who was the chief guest in the event, said that a spectacular sports festival was organized by the regional Maheshwari youth organization in which all the participating players performed brilliantly.  The performance of our players especially from remote areas was full of enthusiasm.  Such events should be held from time to time so that the players of the society can get a proper platform.

Rupesh Gandhi, State President of Regional Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan, while addressing said that this was the first program after Covid.  Young players and spectators from all over the state had reached the Khela Mahotsav.  In this program, the cooperation of all the people of the state has been received, so the program has been successful.  Along with this, congratulations and best wishes to all the winning players and efforts will be made to organize similar programs in future also.
