Awareness campaign for KCC held

Koriya, Sep 06: Under guidance of Collector Shyam Dhawade, Kissan Credit Card (KCC) camps are being organised. It is by creating awareness among more and more farmers about KCC, awareness campaign too is being launched to link more farmers.
In this series, awareness campaign was held in Gram Jaroundha and in this officers and employees from Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Food, Fertilizer and Revenue Department and Panchayat department were present.
The needy farmers being provided loan through KCC for works related to agriculture and farming. Under KCC, the items related to agriculture viz. fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and others are provided through loan. It is on re-payment of loan on time, the interest on loan can be from 0-7 per cent. In District Co-operative Bank this rate of interest is zero.
KCC camp dates for Sept 2021
As per the dates declared for KCC camps, from Sept 13 to 27 it will be held in Gram Girjapur, Chindgarh of Baikunthpur block , Gram Koda, Khadgawa of Khadgawa block; Gram Rajouli of Sonhat block; Gram Chounpur and Janakpur of Manendragarh; Gram Janakpur of Janakpur; from Sept 14-28 it will be organised in Gram Ghourtikara, Targava of Baikunthpur block; Gram Chirmi of Khadgawa; Gram Sonhat of Sonhat block; Gram Barbaspur of Manendragarh block; Gram Madi, Srai of Janakpur block; from Sept 15-29 it will be held in Gram Patna, harnapara of Baikunthpur block; Gram Jilda of Khadgawa; Gram Ramgarh of Sonhat and Gram Kelhari of Manendragarh block and Gram Kotadol and Kamarji of Janakpur block.
