Queen’s NRI COVID centre playing with life of patients, alleges BJP

Jagdalpur, Jun 05: The death of a COVID patient in Medical College Hospital here has cropped a dispute and in this connection BJP City President has alleged that the patient was initially admitted at Queen’s NRI COVID centre and after his situation worsened was referred to Medical College and later he died there. Dr Manoj of Medical College Dimprapal said, 6-10 cases have come to them where the patient referred to them in a very serious condition could not be saved. In Queen’s NRI COVID centre, patients were treated out of the rules and death of a patient on May 30 exposes the neglicency on the part of this centre.
Even after infection in lungs and oxygen level below 60, centre was deceiving the family members of patient and when the situation turned worse, centre referred the patient to Medical College and levelled Medical College responsible for his death.
BJP City President Suresh Gupta demanded strict action against Queen’s NRI COVID centre management and held them responsible for the death of patient.
Who is responsible for black-marketing ?
Remdesivir injection which is a life-saver injection is available in black-market and it needs to be probed who is the kingpin of this racket and is made available in Queen’s NRI COVID centre management. Actually this injection is only available in Medical College Hospital and MPM Hospital. The district administration needs to probe that how this injection was made available in Queen’s NRI COVID centre.
