Two ruffians held for loot

Bhilai, Jun 16: Police have arrested two ruffians on charges of loot. The accused had looted a mobile phone from a person after taking him on the point of knife. The accused are habitual offenders and were involved in petty crimes for fulfilling their expenses.
Khursipar Police informed that at around 22:00 hrs on June 15, two locals were looted by two others near IMI Hospital in Khursipar. On complaint of the victim Lab Technician Saket Sahu, a case was lodged against the unknown looters under section 392, 34 of IPC.
Under the directions of SP Prashant Thakur and supervision of ASP (City) Sanjay Dhruw and CSP (Chhawani) Vishwas Chandrakar, Khursipar Police launched search operations and traced the suspects.
Two habitual offenders identified as Vikram Bagh (22) and Mohit Banjare (18) of Shivaji Nagar were taken in custody and during sustained interrogation, they confessed to have looted a person near IMI Hospital on June 15.
The looted mobile phone worth Rs 38000 was recovered from their possession. Police are interrogating the accused about their involvement in other crimes.
