Sukma police cracks murder mystery

Konta, Aug 04: Sukma Police has solved the mystery of murder due to land dispute and mutual enmity. The police have succeeded in arresting the four accused involved in the murder. It is to be known that on July 27 from the Keralapal police station area of Sukma district, the applicant Kamaru Gangi village Palia resident had filed a missing report of her husband Kalmu Dhudva.
Taking the said incident seriously, police formed a special team to trace the accused of murder on the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police and on the guidance of Police Sub-Divisional Officer Sukma Parmeshwar Tilakwar.
Under the leadership of Shailendra Dubey police station in-charge, Phulbagdi, Principal constable Rakesh Kumar Swarna Satyanarayan Dhruv Rameshwar Thakur Dilharan Singha and DRG personnel made every effort to trace and nab the accused in the case. After intensive interrogation it came to fore that on the day of incident Kalmu Muda, father Kalmu Chinga, Kalmu Deva, father Kalmu Muda, Kalmu Mukka, father Kalmu Lakhma and Kalmu Hidma, father Mukka were abusing in the name of land dispute. On the basis of the above suspicion, the above four persons were interrogated deeply and it was revealed that on July 27, after getting the opportunity of the Beej Pandum festival, all four hatched a conspiracy to kill Kamalu Thudwa and took Kamlu Thurva to the village temple in the name of taking them on a motor cycle. He was strangled to death with a nylon rope and taken to the river bank. And to hide the evidence, the body of Kalmu Dhudwa was tied in the stone with a rope and thrown into the river. The four accused of the said murder have been arrested from village Palia police station, Phulbagdi district Sukma on Monday and presented in the court of Dantewada on Tuesday and sent to jail.
