SSV-X teachers tie ‘ raksha sootra’ on trees

Bhilai, Aug 21: Rakshabandhan was celebrated in a unique way by the teaching staff of Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, Sector -10. As a sister ties ‘rakhi’ on the wrist of her brother and prays to God for his wellbeing, prosperity and success and in return the brother woes to take care and protect her, similarly, in SSV, the teachers tied ‘raksha sootra’ on the trees and plants to express their gratitude towards mother nature for all her blessings bestowed on us and also pledged to protect the environment on this auspicious occasion of ‘rakshabandhan’.
