Government conducting development works at fast pace: Guru Rudra Kumar

Bhilai, Nov 20: PHE Minister Guru Rudra Kumar visited village Ravelideeh on Friday and dedicated various development works to the public. He inaugurated the community building and performed bhumipujan of various development works.
Guru Rudra Kumar said that the construction of a community hall will facilitate the people for organsing various programmes. Development works are being done as per the demands raised by the villagers. According to the requirements of the people, government is approving the projects.
Significant works are being done in the direction of providing clean drinking water to all. Historical steps have been taken in the direction of strengthening the rural economy. Cabinet Minister said that concrete initiatives have been taken for rural development through Narva, Garuva, Ghurva, Bari scheme.
This ambitious scheme has given special emphasis towards increasing the income of the farmers. Acknowledging the on the demand of the villagers, Guru Rudra Kumar announced for construction of shed in Minimata commercial complex, Nirmala Ghat in Dabri Talab and Muslim graveyard. He also participated in Punni Mela in village Akola. Talking to the villagers, the Minister said that Punni Mela is the most integral and beautiful part of our culture. People of neighbouring villages meet here and share happiness. Children have a joy time as they get sweets and toys.
The festive tradition enriches our lives. Cabinet Minister further said that on hearing the word ‘mela’, a wave of happiness starts rising in the mind. People come to the fair with eagerness and enthusiasm; have fun and return home happy. Happiness is also natural in this event that takes place after Diwali.
Taking a big decision in the direction of saving the Chhattisgarhi tradition, CG Government has declared holiday on the festivals of Teej and Hareli. This time there will be a holiday on Chherchera too. Strong cultural traditions create a strong family and society. Cultural traditions also give us solidarity. People gather for auspicious purpose. Unity is also strengthened through such events.
