Devendra reaches Sector 1 and interacts with residents

Bhilai, Sep 30: Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav is constantly visiting various wards one by one, meeting and interacting with people to understand their problems. Thereafter, taking necessary steps to solve the issues. In this sequel Devendra reached Sector 1 on Friday. He moved into all the streets, met the people, bowed at the feet of elders and took blessings as well as sought suggestions on how to further develop the area.

The Bhilainagar MLA first reached the Laxminarayan temple in Sector 1, where he offered prayers for happiness, peace, prosperity of the people of the city. After that he met the people of the area. He met the SHG women’s groups of Sector 1 that are making Phenyl etc. To help them sell the products, a mini Mother’s Market will be started for them in the ward, so that women can easily sell their products. After that they inspected all the lanes of road 12, 13, 14, 15 one by one.

The women told the problems of the ward and demanded some essential basic facilities in Swami Vivekananda Garden. On this Devendra said that he would get the garden renovated. Special facilities will also be made for women here. On the complaint by the women that there is a gathering of anti-social elements in the garden at night time, due to which people have a big problem. The MLA immediately called the SP and told the problem as well as asked to take immediate action.

While having tea near Sector 1 SBI Bank branch, the MLA was briefed by the people in the locality about the potholed roads which get filled with water making it difficult to traverse them. Also the cleanliness in the ward is also not being done properly. Several other issues were also discussed.
