Maa Bamleshwari Trust is damaging the historic heritage

Dongargarh, Nov 26: Maa Bamleshwari Trust has landed into a major dispute by undertaking construction of the office without any consent of the government or the trust Board. The particular land is said to belong the government crematorium. With people evading to unnecessarily dragging into the religious faith and belief, the Tryst members have emboldened and they are reportedly encroaching temple land. It has also been alleged that the Trust members are being supported by the state minister and several powerful individuals. Situated under the slope of the hills, encroachment is reportedly in Chirpan region besides the temple campus. An area of the crematorium ghat measuring about 4 acres has reportedly been encroached on pretext of a massive Sulabh Complex and the remaining area was used for constructing a ropeway. Enraged by this blatant encroachment of the temple land, distinguished locals submitted a memorandum to SDM Girish Ramteke on November 23 last requesting to enter into dialogue with the Trust members to sort out the dispute.
In the year 2020 also, distinguished individuals of the town had requested the administration to save encroachment of the crematorium land. Taking up the issue the then CMO Hemshankar Deshlahea had written to the concerned officials to undertake demarcation of the temple land on December 24, 2020 but surprisingly nothing have been undertaken yet.
Meanwhile the SDM Girish Ramteke has stated that the encroachment is completely illegal and action will undertaken against illegal constructions.
