RIPA plays an important role in strengthening rural economy: Baghel

Bilaspur, Apr 07: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today addressed the divisional level workshop of RIPA of District Panchayat Bilaspur through VC. The workshop was organized under the chairmanship of Pradeep Sharma; Advisor to CM. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel told the nodal officers, technical support agencies and managers of RIPA that you people have an important role in this scheme launched to strengthen the rural economy and said that the government is increasing employment opportunities at the local level so that people do not have to go outside for work.
Rural Industrial Park is providing necessary resources for self-employment in villages and villages are becoming self-supporting through RIPA. In the workshop, District Panchayat President Arun Singh Chauhan, District Panchayat President Rajeshwar Bhargava, Vice President of Arpa Development Authority Abhay Narayan, Joint Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department and State Incharge of RIPA Gaurav Singh, District Panchayat CEO Jayshree Jain, other state level officers of RIPA and Technical Support Agency of the division, RIPA Manager, RIPA Nodal Officer were present.
The meeting was also addressed by Pradep Sharma who said that RIPA has an important role in strengthening the rural economy. Joint Secretary and state in-charge of RIPA, Gaurav Singh emphasized on the participation of unemployed youth. He said that women are writing a new chapter of self-reliance and success through RIPA.
