Guru Rudra Kumar honours Corona Warriors

Bhilai, Jul 04: On the occasion of Doctor’s Day, the South East Central Railway Mazdoor Union Congress organised a felicitation function for Corona warriors. The medical staff, police personnel, social service organizations and social activists were honoured during the function held at Government Railway School in Charoda. The program began with garlanding the portrait of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The medical staff and doctors who served the corona infected patients were honored with mementos, citation, batches and bouquets. Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar graced the function as chief guest.
Guru Rudra Kumar said that the Doctor’s Day celebration is organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr Bidhan Chandra Rai, the great doctor of the country and the former Chief Minister of West Bengal. Paramedical staff and doctors in the hospital have worked tirelessly day and night to save the life of patients who reached the hospital for treatment. While appreciating all the Corona Warriors, doctors and paramedical staff, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all. On this occasion Dr KC Bagh, Dr BK Toppo, Dr Shanti Purti, Dr Shubham Sawant, Dr AB Kerketta, Dr Ashish Sharma, Dr Aditya Narayan Sharma and Dr Smriti Pandey were honoured by the Minister Guru Rudra Kumar. M Rama Rao, T Ramanna Rao, Anu Chacko from Railway Mazdoor Congress, Raju Naidu, Sudhakar, A Shesh Babu, Vinay Singh Baghel (SHO of Police Department, Bhilai-3); Nurses, Government Railway Police Station in-charge Charoda Mahendra Pandey, Civil Defense Koteshwar Rao, Ratnesh Sahu, Jaishankar Sharma, B Tulsi Rao and many social workers of Old Bhilai area were honored. BCMC Commissioner Dr Kirtimaan Singh Rathore, Chief Health and Medical Officer Dr Gambhir Singh Thakur, BCMC Speaker Vijay Jain, Alderman Sanjay Sahu, Rani Verma, Dileep Dhruv, Councilor Rajesh Dandekar, Sangeet Shori, Kiran Raju Naidu, Jeet Singh, Ram Suryavanshi and others were present.
