Nehru Memorial School, celebrates Teachers Day

Birkoni, Sep 07: A grand event marked, Teachers Day celebration here in Barbaspur Road situated Nehru Memorial School. The event was inaugurated by garlanding the picture of Dr. Radhakrishnan Sarvepalli, followed by felicitation and other cultural events.
While addressing the pupils, Director of the school Toopsingh Nishad said that the first deity is the Guru, the second mother and the third father, without which knowledge is not possible, therefore everyone should serve his Guru. Recalling his educational journey, he said that a teacher dedicates his light of knowledge to the students; the Guru is a true guide and the friend, one who expels knowledge and wisdom. Present on the occasion, were Saraswati Yadu, Ishwari Nishad, Rama Yadav, Usha Sahu, Poornima Chandrakar, Madhu Sahis, Tekeshwari Yadav, Bharti Yadav, Godavari Nishad, Khemin Sahu and scores of students.
