Plantation to be done on all main roads: Nishu

Bhilai, Jul 25: To make the BMC area that falls on the opposite of the township area, the artistes and other members under the banner of Paryavaran Sanrakshan Samiti have taken up the task to plant saplings in large number.
President of the Association and also BJP Cultural Cell executive member Nishu Pandey and other members are working continuously with the aim of making aforesaid area equally green as Bhilai township.
Under this campaign, on Sunday the members planted saplings on the main road of Supela Bazar. To preserve the greenery, a lattice was put in place. Nishu Pandey told that they have been working continuously for plantation for the last three years, but it is still far from the target. To get greenery like township, the spirit of competition has to be awakened, he added. Just as people are engaged in the competition of making concrete jungle dedicating all their money, in the same way, if people join hands to build a forest of trees, then it will be easy to achieve the goal.
Senior BJP leader Sharda Gupta said that according to the instructions of MP Vijay Baghel, they all have to contribute in the target of planting 42000 saplings. In view of the lack of oxygen, frequent soil erosion and environmental imbalance, he has instructed to plant more and more trees.
Among those who planted saplings on Sunday were Sharda Gupta, environment lover Karamjit Singh, Barun Prasad, Pitambar Giria, Nilkmal Soni, Kalyan Singh, Shivaji Singh, Bunty Nahar, Rajesh Kesarwani, Bobby Deol, Sanjay Khandelwal, Hansraj Patel, Akhilesh Gupta, Arvind Verma, Shiv Shankar Yadav, Shashikant Singh, Akhilesh Singh, Daneshwar Rao, Nishu Pandey and the traders of Supela market. The responsibility of watering the planted plants and saving the trees from anti-social elements was given to the traders of Supela market.
