PHE Minister performs bhoomipujan for community building

Bhilai, Sep 19: On Sunday, the women wing of Kosariya Marar Patel Samaj organised teej celebrations. PHE Minister Guru Rudra Kumar also attended the event. On the occasion, he performed bhoomipujan for construction of the community building of Kosariya Marar Patel Samaj which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 6 lakh.
The building will be built in Bhilai-3. In his address, PHE Minister said that Teeja is the biggest festival of the women in Chhattisgarh. Women were able to enjoy the festival with full enthusiasm due to initiatives of the state government.
Working women got leave for this festival and their brothers too got leave to bring them to maternal home. Chhattisgarh government has declared holiday on Teeja. Guru Rudra Kumar said that the Chhattisgarh government is taking care of the concerns of women. Not only Teeja, holidays have been declared on festivals like Hareli and Karma Jayanti.
Along with this, the government is committed to promote Chhattisgarhi culture. On the occasion of Teej festivals, programmes of Teej Milan are being organized everywhere. It feels great to stay connected with the rich culture. Minister said that we are taking it forward and urged all to continue promoting the culture and tradition.
He further said that the bhoompujan of the community building has been performed. PHE hoped that the community hall will facilitate the members of the samaj for organising various programmes and promoting community activities.
Guru Rudra Kumar added that he has been participating in the programmes of Kosaria Patel Samaj for long. The samaj is doing great work for the public interest with solidarity. Through organized efforts, we can strengthen the work of the government through public participation.
Greater successes can be achieved through public participation. Addressing the women, he said that it is very important to be empowered. The Government of Chhattisgarh has taken many measures to empower the women. The result is visible now. Our daughters have become financially empowered and are progressing in every field.
