SAIL Chairman pays courtesy visit to CM

Bhilai, Jun 13: Soma Mandal, Chairman, Steel Authority of India Limited, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office the other day. During interaction, SAIL Chairman and Chief Minister discussed various issues relevant to SAIL-BSP employees.
They discussed pay revision of the officers pending since 2017, wage revision of employees, giving priority to the native residents of Chhattisgarh in recruitment of employees for BSP, training to upgrade skills, establish Swami Atmanand English Medium schools in BSP township area, to build super specialty hospital by improving facilities at Sector-9 hospital, power supply to BSP township area through state electricity board the CSEB, and reduction in rate of lease renewal of land allotted to religious, cultural and social institutions in the township area.
The Chief Minister said that the growth of SAIL and Chhattisgarh are interrelated. Mutual understanding and cooperation so far have resulted in the progress of both and with the passage of time this solidarity has become even better. The Chief Minister assured of extending all necessary assistance on behalf of the state government and expressed hope that as before SAIL will continue to cooperate on issues related to the interest of the people of Chhattisgarh. The SAIL Chairman also expressed her gratitude for the cooperation being provided by the State Government. On this occasion, Secretary, Mineral Resources Department, Anbalagan P and SEFI Chairman and BSP Officers Association President Narendra Kumar Banchhor was also present.
