Men’s hockey team of Hemchand Yadav University departs for Bilaspur

Bhilai, Nov 24: The Vice Chancellor of Hemchand Yadav University, Durg Dr Aruna Palta extended her best wishes to the men’s Hockey team of the University that took off to participate in the East Zone Inter University Hockey (Men) Tournament to be held at Bilaspur.
Sports Director of the University, Dr Lalit Prasad Verma informed that Dr Palta in her brief address to the players while seeing them off urged all to perform excellently with sportsman spirit keeping in mind the dignity of the university. Losing and winning are two sides of the game, but the spirit of the game should always be kept at the top, she added.
It is worth mentioning that the tournament is being organised from November 24 to November 27, 2021, under the auspices of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur. The team includes players from various colleges that are affiliated to the University.
