New committee of Lions Club Bhilai Great sworn in

Bhilai, Jul 29: The newly elected working committee of Lions Club Bhilai Great was sworn in in the presence of Chief Guest Region Chairperson Lion Esther Tigga and special guest Zone Chairperson Lion Rashmi Agrawal. The former District President Lion Anita Agrawal administered the oath of office to the new team.
The function began with the garlanding of the portraits of Mother India and Melvin Jones and traditional lamp lighting, followed by the flag song by Lion Babita Soni and welcome address by Saroj Agrawal.
After administering the oath to the new team, Anita Agrawal reminded the team to always maintain politeness and be humble and never forget the motto being service.
Chief Guest Esther Tigga in her address said that the blessings of God is upon you even when you extend support to one person. She also discussed the planning for working on district project “Sapne”. Special guest Rashmi Agrawal congratulated the new team and stressed on the need to work on plantation, diabetes, hunger relief. Immediately after being sworn in the new team donated a wheelchair to a needy.
The programme was successfully conducted by Lion Ritu Agrawal while vote of thanks was proposed by Archana Gupta. Also, ten new members were inducted at the function. All the members of Bhilai Great were present on the occasion.
The new body sworn in included Varsha Agrawal as President; Mala Agrawal, Anita Pandey, Mamta Verma and Prabha Patel as vice president; Babita Agrawal and Ritu Agrawal as Secretary; Babita Soni as Assistant Secretary; Rajkumari Verma as Treasurer; Archana Gupta as Assistant Treasurer, Anita Gupta as Tamer; Shruti Singhal as Tail Twister; and the working committee members Bharti Agrawal, Saroj Agrawal, Usha Agrawal, Sunita Sharma, Manju Sharma, Saroj Dinodia, Vandana Singhal, Asha Agrawal, Sangeeta Agrawal, Dr Alka Sardeshpande, Dr Savita Mishra, K Rajeshwari, Manju Bansal, Bhavna Gulhane, Santosh Agrawal and Pooja Agrawal.
