Minister of Higher Education working to make villages financially strong and self-reliant: Umesh Patel

Raipur, Mar 20: Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel dedicated and inaugurated various construction works in various villages of Pusaur development block in Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 92.36 lakh. On this occasion, Higher Education Minister Patel said that the government is constantly working towards making the villages and villagers financially strong and self-reliant. For this, schemes to provide education, health and employment to the doorsteps have been started. Godan Nyaya Yojana, Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari, Haat Bazar and Suchitran Yojana and Padai Tuhar Duar, English Medium School, these schemes have made access to basic facilities easy to villages. While people have got new work opportunities, paddy and other crops are getting input from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, increase in support price of forest produce and increase the income of the villagers with the plan to reduce the electricity bill by 400 units. Along with this, economic relief is being provided. He said that the development works of all the necessary infrastructure are being completed in the villages at a rapid pace and further development works will be done according to the demand and requirement of the villagers. During this, he congratulated the villagers on achieving the first place in the clean panchayat survey and extended the greetings and good wishes to the villagers, and asked them to continue this practice of rural cleanliness even further. During this time, various villagers kept their different problems. Higher Education Minister Patel instructed the officers to solve the problems of the villagers immediately. On this occasion, he directed the officers of the Tehsil to set up camps in the villages for the convenience of the villagers. In which works like mutation and extortion can be disposed off at the village level itself
Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel visited village Gorra, Raitarai, Bulanki, Basanpali, Putkapuri, Navapara Mand and Kowatal in Pusaur development block. During this, he inaugurated various works costing Rs. 40 lakh in village Nawapara Mand. This includes the Bhoomi Pujan work of primary school building with cultural shed, CC Road, multi activity center and working shed, cultural platform and stage in Gauthan. Village-Kowatal includes cultural platform, shed construction, water tank, CC Road, Anganwadi building and PDS building at a cost of about Rs 37.66 lakh. Inauguration of construction of Anganwadi building and shed at a cost of Rs. 8.45 lakh in Gram Gora, construction of tap-water unit and water tank works at a cost of Rs. 6.25 lakh at Raitarai. On the demand of the villagers, announced the construction of CC Road in Deepapara of Gram Panchayat Bulanki. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Mr. Nirakar Patel, District Panchayat Member Mr. Akash Mishra, Chairman District Panchayat Mr. Sushil Bhoy, Vice President Janpad Panchayat Mr. Gopi Chaudhary, District Panchayat Member Mr. Gulab Singh Lahre and Mrs. Rupa Dinesh Patel, SDM Mr. Couple Kishore Urvasha, Tehsildar Ms. Maya Anchal, CEO Janpad Panchayat Pusaur Mr. Nitesh Upadhyay, Sarpanch, Panch and villagers were present.
