Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankram Verma today inaugurated the National Taekwondo organized at the Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in the capital Raipur. Describing sports as an integral part of life he said that sports is important for physical and mental development. He congratulated the players from different states in this two-day long National Taekwondo Competition. As many as 800 players from 25 states are participating in this competition organized by Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association under the auspices of Taekwondo Federation of India. Total 14 boys and 14 girls Taekwondo players from different states are among the participants.
