Vijay wins gold medal in Khelo India University Weightlifting

Vijay Kumar Maheshwari from Pt Ravishanker Shukla University Raipur on Monday won the gold medal in the Khelo India University Games 2023-24 in the Weightlifting event held at Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh.
Vijay lifted 96 Kg in Snatch and 128 Kg in Clean and Jerk to make it total of 224 Kg lift in the 55 Kg weight category to win the gold medal. Vijay has so far won 3 gold and 2 silver medal for Pt Ravishanker Shukla University to register new record in the University level.
Team Coach Ajay Deep Sarang and Vijay have been congratulated by the officials on the above success.
