Uttar Pradesh Polls: Congress, SP, and Nishad party announces candidates for different phases of assembly elections

In Uttar Pradesh, Congress, Samajwadi Party, and Nishad party have announced candidates for the different phases of assembly elections. Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and ally Nishad Party announced six candidates for assembly polls.

Sitting MLA from Samajwadi party Subhash Pasi will contest as Nishad Party nominee from Saidpur seat of Ghazipur district. Sarvan Nishad who had contested Gorakhpur Parliamentary bye-election as an independent candidate in 2018 will be party nominee from Chaurichaura seat in Gorakhpur. He is son of party chief Sanjay Nishad.

Congress party also released 7th list of its candidates for assembly elections. The Party has pitted Dr Manish Chauhan against present MLA and turncoat Aditi Singh at Raebareli Sadar constituency.

The Samajwadi Party also announced 12 candidates for assembly elections.
