Rotary Club conducts plantation drive in District Hospital

Bhilai, Jul 09: Tree Plantation campaign is being carried out by Rotary Club of Bhilai Steel City as a project for the month of July-2021. As a part of this programme saplings were planted in Durg district hospital premises on July 06, 2021. On this occasion Dr P Balkishore, Civil Surgeon, Durg, Dr KK Jain, Dr Markam were the dignitaries present along with the staff nurses of the hospital. Rotarians of Bhilai Steel City along with all the dignitaries planted saplings and took oath to preserve the nature. Rotarians present on the occasion were Rtn Dr Akhilesh Yadav, President, who organised the event, Rtn Rajeev Gopinath, club Secretary, Rtn Amit Srivastava and Rtn VR Sinha. The programme was successfully conducted with the co-operation and support of the hospital management and all fellow Rotarians. It was a small gesture of Rotary Club of Bhilai Steel City to protect and save the environment for the future generations. Further the Club President informed that they will conduct more such programmes and plant saplings in various public building premises and are always ready to co-operate and support any such programme organized by the district administration or state government and thanked all who participated in this social cause.
