Religious Gurus appreciate CM’s humble attitude

Bhilai, Dec 11: On Friday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the inauguration function of Rohini Gaushala in Janjgiri of Durg District. When he arrived in the function, religious gurus and saints were delivering sermon. Instead of sitting on the chair, CM decided to sit down on the floor in respect of the religious gurus.
The Saints praised the Chief Minister and said that it has always been a tradition in India that the religious leader always sits higher place and the king respects him by sitting on a lower place. Chief Minister has carried on this tradition and Saints admired his modesty.
On the occasion, Chief Minister announced grants of Rs 50 lakh for various works to be done at Shri Radhe Nikunj Ashram. Saints specially praised the Chief Minister’s Godhan Nyay Yojana. They said that the work launched by the Chief Minister for the protection of the Gau Mata is commendable.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister said that in our Indian tradition, Dharma, Arth, Kama and Moksha have been stated as the basis of life. First among these is “Arth” (money). Godhan and agriculture will develop only when the economy is strong.
“Godhan Nyay Yojana” was launched with this point of view. CM added that the heartfelt praise received from Saints indicate that the project has been very successful. Chief Minister said that good works lead to subsequent good works and opens new avenues.
Government opened the Gauthans for the protection of cows. Thereafter, Pairadaan (Paddy Straw Donation) was started for arranging fodder for cattle in Gauthans. Now most of the people donate the paddy straws and do not burn it in the fields.
Here in Chhattisgarh, the problem of paddy straw burning is not seen anywhere. Along with this, the increasing strength of Godhan will make the agriculture sector stronger. For the purpose, the state government launched the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
The beneficiaries who are associated with this scheme are earning between Rs 3000 to Rs 30000 per month. This scheme has also opened the way for manufacturing vermi compost and laid a strong foundation for organic farming and revive the fields.
Maharaj Ramgyani Das Ji of Tirkhedi Ashram also addressed the gathering. He said that there is a tradition in the vedic scriptures that Rajpurush always comes to the religious leaders to seek their opinion in matters of public welfare.
Chief Minister came here and politely refused to sit on the chair. CM’s behaviour shows his humbleness. If the royal men are humble, the works of public welfare are done at a faster pace. Mahant Kamallochan Das Maharaj also showered his blessings on the Chief Minister.
He said that the initiatives taken by Chhattisgarh government for protection of cows are being discussed across the nation and this significant task has been done by the Chief Minister. In his address, Niranjan Maharaj said that Radhe Baba of Vrindavan protects 25000 cows. Radhe Baba often praises Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for his initiatives of cow protection.
