Khursipar area getting twice a day water supply

It was in the meeting held last week that the Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure had instructed to make arrangements for twice a day water supply in the nearby areas of Khursipar as per the requirement.
Work was completed on a war footing for this and one pump each was started in the filter plants, as well as one additional pump was started in the intake well. There were some complaints of water being drawn with the from the pipe somewhere with the use of Tulu Pump. Therefore, on the instructions of Collector, the option of power cut at the time of water supply was taken up by Electricity Department. With the introduction of additional pumps and power cut, the water pressure increased and water started reaching everyone as per the requirement. The Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure on Thursday took a review of this arrangement. He said that last week a zone-wise list of the existing problems and action plan to solve them had been sought, so that work could be started. The collector also inquired about the quality of drinking water and instructed to monitor it continuously. He said that it is the priority of the Corporation to provide drinking water to everyone as per their need and to provide pure drinking water. Wherever there is a problem, fix it, he instructed.
Collector also said that monitoring of dengue cases is also very important. This is the most important time to be alert after the return of the rain. Wherever dengue cases occur, comprehensive prevention programs should be carried out. Continue the program of widespread fogging and distribution of Temiphos in hotspot areas. Also keep emptying the cooler, old tank etc. He inquired about the action taken by the Corporation so far. Along with this, information was also taken on the action being taken for dengue control in the township area.
