Heavy rains spoil crops, farmers frustrated

Anwari, Nov 14:
In all the villages of the Anwari region including Anwari Bhaibhod, heavy rains lashed the place on Sunday and crops kept after harvesting got spoiled. The farmers are frustrated over the loss and they look for a dark future ahead. Farmers said, rains have spoilt their four months of labour in the field. These days harvesting of crop is in progress and suddenly on Sunday morning heavy rains for three hours made the farmers helpless. The rains will also cast spell on next crop to be sown as the fields are full with water and soil cannot be tilted. The crops with moisture will be difficult to be sold in the market.
