Elaborate arrangements made at paddy procurement centers

Bhilai, Dec 03: Paddy procurement has commenced in Durg district from the first day of this month. The arrangements for the purchase of paddy have been completed by the committees.
Officials are continuously monitoring the arrangements in the paddy procurement centers. Paddy procurement is going on smoothly in the paddy procurement centers of Patan block.
In the paddy procurement center of village Jamgaon M, 235 farmers were given tokens for the purchase of paddy, according to which paddy is being procured. Tokens were given to 523 farmers in village Tarra and 101 farmers in village Funda.
A farmer Sushil Kumar Chandrakar of Village Jamgaon M said that he has sold 179 sacks of paddy and will sell 45 more sacks. Omkar Prasad of village Amlidih sold 166 bags of paddy. He said that good arrangements have been made in the procurement center.
Here, the farmers of villages Tarra, Raveli, Rakhi, Gabhara and Loharsi sold their paddy. It needs to be mentioned here that a division level meeting was held recently in which instructions were given to monitor all the parameters related to paddy procurement. Adequate arrangements were made in all the centers as per the instructions.
