Penalty imposed on 47 people for not using masks

The Bhilai Corporation administration is making every effort to prevent people in the area from getting infected with Corona virus. To prevent the infection from spreading, it is extremely important to use a mask on the face when one is going out of the house. But people are taking the advisory very lightly and are not wearing masks in violation of the rules which increases the risk of spreading infection to other people. Therefore, the corporation administration has taken up a mask checking campaign and is taking strict action against such people who move around without a mask. The Bhilai Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi, has directed to conduct regular checks for such violators and take action against those who have gone out of the house without covering the face and moving around in the market or public places without using masks. Therefore, the health and revenue teams of all the zones under the corporation area are conducting checking and imposing fine on the persons found violating the rules and moving in public places without covering the face. The corporation’s teams are constantly inspecting the market area, shops and customers and taking action against those who violate the rules.
The corporation’s team collected a total fine of Rs 4450 from 47 people during the checking on Tuesday. In the proceedings from Zone no 02 Vaishalinagar, Rs 3550 was collected from 38 people and Zone no 05 Sector area a fine of Rs 900 was recovered from 09 people.
