CRS inspects doubling and electrification work

Sambalpur, Aug 05: S.Mitra, Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Eastern Circle, Kolkata inspected the new doubling and electrification work between Arang Mahanadi to Lakholi stations of Raipur-Titlagarh doubling project in Sambalpur Division and Raipur Division (SECR) on 5th August 2021.
Mitra, inspected safety-related aspects like Overhead equipments, Bridges, Manned level crossings, Signal & Telecommunication equipments, Railway track etc. and also conducted a speed trial. After Doubling & Electrification of this section in the division it will further facilitate the smooth running of trains.
Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur, Shri Pradeep Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer(Con), East Coast Railway, D.P.Lal, Executive Director, RVNL, Saroj Kanta Patra, Chief Project Manager, RVNL, Bhavesh Pande, GM (Electrical ), RVNL, S.K.Purohit, Sr. Divisional Engineer(Co-ordination),Sambalpur, Jayanta Kumar Khamari and other senior officials from East Coast Railway Headquarters , Senior officials from Sambalpur and Raipur Division (SECR) were also accompanied during the inspection.
