Shikhar Samuel qualifies for pre-national Ch’ship
Takathpur, Mar 11:
In the 19th State-level Shooting Championship organised by Chhattisgarh State Rifle Association (CSRA), Shikhar Samuel of city qualified in the junior category and won gold medal and got qualified for the pre-national championship.
This championship was inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education Umesh Patel and in this Shikhar Samuel won gold medal in 50 meter event in junior category and got qualified for pre-national championship.
Shikhar Samuel is is 14 yrs and is S/o Sanket Samuel. His father also won silver medal in 50 mts event and gold medal in three-position team and got gold medal in 50 mts event and got qualified for pre-national championship. On the other hand, Swapnil Rishi won gold medal in 50 meter (men’s) and gold in 50 mts three- position and won total of 5 medals with gold in 10 mts event.
Along with this Sanket Samuel’s son Shashank Samuel and nephew Saransh Samuel also got qualified for the second year in a row for the pre-national. In this demonstration coach Ahmed Ali Chisti, Narendra Saxena, Ashish Prasad, Abhishekh Masih, Sagar Masih, Shailendra Masih, Samit Samuel, Sanjeev Prakash, Sunil Lal, Bholu Dheemar have expressed greetings to all and wished them all the best in future events.
