Painting competition organized in memory of martyr cops

Bhilai, Oct 24: On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day and in the memory of the martyred policemen, the Police Flag Day is being observed from October 21 to National Unity Day on October 31.
Durg Police is organising various events under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police (Durg) Badri Narayan Meena and leadership of Nodal Officer – Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Sanjay Kumar Dhruv.
In this sequel, a painting competition was organized under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bangde in the premises of Police Control Room, Sector 6 on Sunday. More than 50 children participated in this competition.
They made the paintings in the memory of the brave martyrs. Participants of different age groups participated in the painting competition. Through their paintings, they paid tributes to the immortal martyrs.
The competition was divided into 3 categories viz – children up to 12 years of age and children from 12 years to 18 years, participants above 18 years of age. The winners of the competition will be announced on National Unity Day on 31st October.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Anant Sahu was also present. The painting competition organized on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day was successfully organized by Inspector Gaurav Tiwari (in-charge Cyber Cell), Constable Prashant Shukla and Amit Dubey.
