CISF gets drone to strengthen surveillance system

Bhilai, Oct 29: To harness bird’s eye view made possible by Drone Technology, Energy Management Department (EMD) of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant had procured a Drone (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-Micro Category) from an indigenous manufacturer.
To strengthen the Surveillance System inside Bhilai Steel Plant premises and for better monitoring of the Plant periphery, the Drone was handed over to SK Bajpai, Commandant, CISF, BSP Unit on October 28 ’21 at a simple function by Saiyed Nawaid Abidi, CGM I/c (Services) in the presence of VK Shrivastava, CGM (EMD), Ramani Subramanian, GM (EMD), Anish Kumar, Inspector, Crime Investigation Wing, CISF and Jaspal Singh, Quarter Master, CISF and other senior officials from BSP.
In addition to security aspects, this Drone will also be used to monitor the health of roof of various shops of BSP, gas pipeline networks and other equipment at height inside Bhilai Steel Plant.
SK Bajpai, Commandant, CISF thanked BSP Management for providing Drone to CISF and assured that monitoring of Plant will be done in an improved manner by using this technology.
