‘Disha’ preparing natural seed balls for increase in plantation

Bhilai, Jun 02: In order to increase the scope of plantation in the district, the social organization “Disha” has come forward to provide nutritious seeds. A balanced ball of manure, soil and fruit seeds has been prepared by Disha. Just planting this ball with seed, appropriate amount of nutrition and manure would help the seed grow into a sapling and then into a plant.
The organization will provide this ball to the government offices for plantation. Citing example the Director of the organisation Nidhi Chandrakar said that just as Sun spreads its rays to the atmosphere the trees also provide oxygen to everyone. Also, the second wave of corona has made people understand the importance of nature.
The manure that has been prepared from the government’s Godhan Nyay Yojana has provided an opportunity for the women to connect with nature. Using manure, soil and seeds of fruits women have prepared a ball-shaped structure, which they named as natural ball.
The balls will be distributed to all social organizations and government offices and appeal will be made to plant new trees using these balls during the monsoon. Nidhi Chandrakar further said that as soon as the members of the organisation put forth this idea, she agreed to it.
The natural ball has been made using only the seeds of the fruit. So that in the coming time, trees made from seeds can benefit all human beings, animals and birds.
